Site information

Cookies, plainly stated.

What browser storage may be used, why it is used, and how you control it.

Essential storage and processing

The site and its providers may use storage or technical request data needed to deliver pages, prevent abuse, protect forms and remember privacy choices. These functions are not used by Ledgers Academy for advertising profiles. Cloudflare and Wordpuppi may process security and delivery information according to their own retention schedules.

Google AdSense and its CMP

Content pages contain the Google AdSense tag. Google’s certified consent management platform uses IAB TCF 2.3 and presents the applicable choices before advertising storage or personalised advertising is used where consent is required. Depending on your choice, Google and participating ad technology providers may use cookies, local storage, IP addresses, device identifiers and activity information to deliver, limit, protect, measure or personalise ads. Provider names and purposes are available under “Manage options” in the Google message.

Google explains common advertising technologies in its cookie information and explains partner-site processing here.

Forms, market tools, and affiliate placements

The contact and subscription forms do not require advertising consent. They send the information you choose to provide to Wordpuppi. Market searches are requested directly from CoinGecko and are not stored by Ledgers Academy. Social links are ordinary links; the site does not embed YouTube or X content.

A clearly labelled Ledger affiliate placement may request its image from affiliate.ledger.com when it enters the page. The image request can expose ordinary technical request data such as IP address and browser information to Ledger. Clicking the placement opens Ledger with the referral identifier contained in the link. Any storage used after leaving this site is controlled by Ledger under its own privacy and cookie information.

How to refuse or withdraw

Choose “Do not consent” in Google’s message or use “Privacy and cookie settings” at the bottom of the site to reopen the choices. Refusing optional advertising storage does not block access to the site. You can also delete or block cookies through your browser, although essential security functions may then behave differently.
